Optional equipment
Step 1: Choose a comfortable seated, standing or supported option
Amazon Basics extra-thick exercise mat with carrying strap
If floor-based movement suits you, check whether an existing mat is comfortable. Seated and supported options may not need one.
Consider: Soft, thick foam can feel unstable for standing balance or heavy lifting. Check grip and space. Seated or standing routines may need no mat, and the mat does not provide form guidance.
Free or already owned: Use an existing suitable mat, or choose appropriate seated or standing movements on a stable surface.
